Sr. LV Project Manager

Job Purpose

The purpose of the Senior Project Manager role is to lead the successful delivery of complex client projects while building strong and trusted client relationships. The role provides senior-level project ownership, ensuring client expectations and business objectives are met while contributing to client retention and long-term account growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage complex Linguistic Validation projects from initiation through final delivery.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and to expected quality standards.
• Monitor project progress, maintain accurate project trackers and ensure all project documentation is complete and up to date.
• Manage project budgets, invoicing and change orders, ensuring financial control and profitability.
• Identify, manage and escalate project risks, resource constraints and quality issues when required.
• Coordinate and support cross-functional project teams, ensuring responsibilities and priorities are clearly understood.
• Support the coaching and mentoring of junior team members.
• Identify opportunities for account growth and contribute to proposals and revenue expansion.
• Identify and support improvements to processes, localization practices and ways of working.
• Maintain accurate project and client KPI information across relevant systems.
• Ensure project delivery consistently meets client requirements and RWS processes and standards.

Skills & Experience

• 5–7 years of Project Management experience or experience in a similar role.
• Experience independently managing complex projects in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of Linguistic Validation processes and stakeholders.
• Strong client management/customer service experience, with confidence acting as the main client contact.
• Experience with budget management, project financials and profitability.
• Strong project planning, organization and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to complex projects and changing priorities.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to identify risks, delivery challenges and opportunities for process improvement.
• Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members is beneficial.
• Degree or qualification in Project Management, Business or a related area, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with translation management systems, CAT tools and AI-assisted productivity tools is desirable.
• PMP certification and fluency in an additional language are advantageous.
