Software Localization Engineer

Job Purpose

We are looking for a Software Localization Engineer, who will be in charge or all technical aspects of the localization process including investigating localization issues and providing technical support to vendors. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare files needed for localization, hand-offs to vendors and hand-backs from vendors    
• Create or modify processes and tools necessary for localization process    
• Investigate localization issues/bugs and propose or makes fixes    
• Communicate with vendors and provide technical support with CAT tools  
• Create or modify documentation for new or existing processes and tools         
• Create or modify processes, tools and scripts needed for building process       
• Analyze new projects to identify potential engineering related issues     

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience working in localization engineering or with localization processes
• Basic programming skills (especially Python)
• Knowledge of regular expressions (Regex)
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Knowledge of additional localization file formats (e.g., JSON, YAML, XLIFF, RESX)
• Familiarity with CAT tools and localization technologies
