Job Purpose

The Technical Talent Acquisition Partner is a key driver of RWS’s growth, owning agile, end to end technical hiring across India’s competitive talent market while delivering a standout, candidate first experience.

You’ll partner closely with Engineering and technology leaders, building trusted relationships that turn deep insight into sharp, targeted hiring strategies. As a true advisor, you’ll bring clarity, pace and alignment to every stage of the recruitment lifecycle.

 

This role needs someone agile, proactive and confident sourcing technically niche skill sets, engaging passive talent and moving candidates quickly through a transparent, high‑quality process. You’ll influence and communicate effectively with hiring managers and candidates, balancing speed with quality to deliver exceptional results.

 

As a market expert, you’ll secure talent that reflects RWS’s principles and values, technically strong, diverse, passionate individuals committed to our mission. You’ll join a global TA team focused on hiring the very best while delivering a consistent, inclusive and high‑quality experience across all regions.

 

Please note: This role will be office based 4/5 days a week.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full end‑to‑end technical recruitment lifecycle, partnering with hiring managers to define role requirements, craft accurate job descriptions, advise on hiring strategies, prepare job adverts, and deliver a fast, high quality process from sourcing through onboarding.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to Engineering and Technology Leaders, providing market insights, influencing hiring decisions and ensuring alignment across all stages of the recruitment process.

  • Host and coordinate on-site interviews, welcoming candidates on arrival and ensuring they feel supported throughout their visit.
  • Drive fast candidate first hiring, managing all logistics for phone screens, technical assessments, virtual and onsite interviews, ensuring momentum and clarity at every step.

  • Build and execute proactive networking and talent engagement strategies, creating long‑term pipelines for niche technical skills across India’s competitive talent market.

  • Proactively headhunt passive and active candidates, using advanced sourcing techniques, deep market knowledge and strong relationship‑building skills to secure high‑calibre talent quickly.

  • Innovate with sourcing and assessment techniques, thinking creatively and identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, improve candidate experience and accelerate hiring.

  • Act as a brand ambassador, promoting RWS’s mission, culture and EVP across all candidate touchpoints and external networks.

  • Use ATS and reporting tools effectively, ensuring accurate data, strong pipeline visibility and high‑quality recruitment metrics.

  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with TA, HR and Rewards teams to ensure consistency in hiring, onboarding and talent development.

  • Support employer branding initiatives, helping shape a consistent approach to candidate attraction, shortlisting, interviewing and selection across India.

  • Ensure a respectful, inclusive and professional candidate journey, maintaining RWS’s global standards of excellence.

  • Maintain full compliance with Indian employment law, right‑to‑work requirements, verification processes, approvals and internal governance.

 

 Skills Required: 

  • 8+ years of experience hiring for Enterprise Technology, Engineering and AI roles, ideally across multiple technical domains in India’s talent market.

  • Deep expertise across the full recruitment lifecycle, gained in fast paced environments (agency, RPO or in‑house).

  • Strong command of technical hiring, including assessment, evaluation, competency‑based interviewing and partnering with engineering leaders.

  • Exceptional organisational skills, able to manage multiple technical roles simultaneously while maintaining speed, quality and candidate experience.

  • Proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders, building trust quickly and guiding them toward best‑practice hiring decisions.

  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical requirements, ask insightful questions and negotiate positive outcomes.

  • Expert sourcing capability, including advanced use of LinkedIn Recruiter, Nukari and creative direct sourcing strategies.

  • Strong ATS knowledge, ensuring accurate candidate data, compliance and reporting.

  • Ability to create engaging digital content, support internal communication channels (SharePoint/Teams) and contribute to employer branding.

  • Genuine passion for attracting, onboarding and developing great talent, with a candidate first mindset and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

  • Solid understanding of Indian employment law, ensuring compliance and risk‑free hiring.

  • Comfortable building deep relationships with senior leaders, learning the intricacies of technical functions and confidently advising on hiring strategy.
