System Administrator - Linux

We are looking for an experienced Linux Administrator who will help us to administrate servers in Brno. You will have an opportunity to improve and we are truly looking for a decision maker.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, support, and maintain Linux installed systems. (Ubuntu, Red Hat)
• Day to day Management of Kubernetes. (GKE)
• Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery procedures to minimize data loss and maintain business continuity.
• Automate system administrative tasks using scripting languages such as Bash or Python to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Responsible for identification and improvement of products/services lifecycle as well as execution of initiatives to reduce failure

Skills & Experience

• Hands on experience with public cloud technologies. GCP, AWS preferred (DESIRED)

• Completed higher education in the field of IT, Computer Science, or similar
• 5+ years of experience in managing Linux operating systems, including Ubuntu, Red Hat.
• 2+ years of experience building and maintaining container platforms.
• Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, and storage technologies.
• Strong knowledge of systems monitoring, alerting and analytics using Zabbix, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Fluent English
