Job Purpose

 

The Test Engineer is responsible for communicating with a client that drives forward User Acceptance Testing to participate in their functional and regression testing using their internal front and back end systems, apps and reporting tools.

The Test Engineer can also handle primary data prep using client’s backend systems for UATs of low complexity.

 

 

Job Overview

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform regression and functional testing using customer systems in UAT.

- Maintain open communication regarding testing status, issues, and requests with internal customers and business partners.

- Help create and set up test users for UAT execution. Validate part setup and accounts in necessary front-end systems.

- Assist in fulfilling testing and primary data needs of all Capital and Non-Capital funded User Acceptance Testing (UATs) running in parallel.

- Monitor data request email groups and all communication channels, receive incoming data requests, and deliver them within established deadlines.

- Create and validate data in both back-end and front-end test environments.

- Control that all data, namely serial numbers, IMEIs and MEIDs, are correctly aligned between all systems under test and none of these cause inter-system data mismatch.

- Troubleshoot and identify issues within created data, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve data-related problems.

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Previous SAP experience preferred.

- Experience with QA or user acceptance testing preferred.

- English Advanced

- Advanced knowledge of Windows, Mac or Linux operating systems (Mac preferred).

- Skilled in debugging, troubleshooting, and efficiently resolving issues.

- Ability to create, organize and maintain documentation.
