About the Role

 

The Associate Data Integrity Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the quality, accuracy, and reliability of client patent renewal data. You will ensure timely data entry, updates, and document management within IP management systems, supporting seamless service delivery and client reporting. Your work will directly contribute to operational excellence and client satisfaction in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

 

 

1. Data Management & Accuracy

  • Verify, validate, and enter patent renewal data accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure all data-related tasks are completed within required timeframes.
  • Upload and maintain supporting documents in relevant systems.

2. Quality Assurance & Issue Resolution

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies or inconsistencies.
  • Escalate complex issues to Team Manager and collaborate on solutions.
  • Perform regular data audits to ensure compliance with internal and client standards.

3. Stakeholder Communication

  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to confirm and update data as needed.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, accurate data reports to clients and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with Service Portfolio Managers to meet docketing and reporting requirements.

4. Process Improvement & Team Support

  • Support the development and implementation of data integrity processes and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members on data entry standards and system usage.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at improving data quality and workflow efficiency.

 

Skills & Experience

 

Essential

  • 2+ years of experience in data management, docketing, or IP administration, preferably within a law firm, IP service provider, or corporate IP department.
  • Strong proficiency with IP Management Systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Sound communication in Korean.

Preferred

  • Experience in patent renewals or annuities service delivery.
  • Familiarity with data validation, reporting tools, or basic data analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a distributed team.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
