Job Purpose

 The HR Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end Core HR Operations, ensuring statutory compliance, audit readiness, and process excellence across the organization. This role requires a hands-on HR professional with strong expertise in compliance management, HR documentation, data handling, and employee lifecycle management.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure 100% statutory compliance including PF, ESIC, PT, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment, and other labor laws
  •  in all matters relating to the employee life cycle in country scope, to provide legal, policy, and decision-making consultation to local managers and headquarter.Lead and manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of audit observations
  • Maintain and monitor HR MIS, reports, and dashboards using advanced Excel spreadsheets
  • Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary processes, and policy implementation
  • Draft, review, and update HR policies, SOPs, and process documentation
  • Act as a key liaison with legal consultants, auditors, and government authorities
  • Support leadership with data-driven insights related to HR metrics and compliance status
  • Ensure smooth execution of HR governance, controls, and best practices Shaping the local environment to cultivate a culture aligned with RWS values and promoting the employer brand.

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • 7+ years of experience in Core HR Operations
  • Strong expertise in Core HR Operations
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliances
  • Proven experience in handling HR audits and compliance reviews
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, MIS reporting)
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and ownership
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Prior experience in compliance-driven or audit-heavy environments is mandatory
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
