Senior Project Manager - Train AI Finance

The purpose of this role is to recruit a Financial Project Manager to lead and support the financial aspects of the payments process operating out of India. The Financial Project Manager will play a central role in planning, coordinating and executing key payments-related initiatives, ensuring that processes run efficiently, accurately, and in line with organizational goals. The role will also involve collaboration across cross-functional teams to streamline financial workflows, improve operational performance, and support continuous process improvement in the payments domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely on all financial aspects of the GEN AI project, including customer and vendor finances
• Extract and prepare financial data for invoicing and related reporting activities
• Identify and resolve vendor finance issues promptly and effectively
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement a financial workflow for GEN AI that aligns with the RWS billing calendar
• Develop and maintain dashboards for invoicing and financial performance tracking
• Review and update the current vendor financial workflow to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency
• Maintain consistent communication with vendors and the accounting department to ensure smooth financial operations
• Generate and report financial data in Adaptive, ensuring accuracy and alignment with reporting standards
• After the financial workflow is established, the new team member will be managing daily operations
• Learn and support i18N finances to act as a backup when needed

Skills & Experience

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Enjoys working with numbers and financial data
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
• Basic knowledge of Power BI (data visualization and reporting)
• Basic understanding of SQL (querying and data extraction)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (or similar ERP systems)
• Solid understanding of basic accounting concepts, including:
• Revenue and expenses
• Billing cycles and monthly closing
• Margins and profitability analysis
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Proactive and organized, with a focus on process improvement
• Able to work under tight deadlines and handle stressful situations effectively
