Job Purpose

The MuleSoft Development Team Leader is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. This role involves working on internal and external projects and lead other Engineers. The candidate ensures delivery of high-quality integration solutions within the agreed scope and timelines.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Technical Leadership: Lead design, development, and deployment of complex integration solutions, ensuring performance, quality, and adherence to standards.
  • Mentorship & Guidance: Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and foster technical growth within the team.
  • Architecture & Standards: Work with solution architects to enforce integration patterns, API governance, security protocols, and best practices (e.g., CI/CD, testing).
  • Collaboration: Work with architects, business analysts, DevOps, and other teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Platform Management: Oversee use of Anypoint Platform (Studio, API Manager, Runtime Fabric/CloudHub) and cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS).
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform R&D for new capabilities.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure consistent product and process quality by developing, executing, and continuously improving quality assurance standards, procedures, and audits.

Skills & Experience

 

  • MuleSoft Expertise: Deep knowledge of Anypoint Platform, API Management, DataWeave, Connectors, RTF/CloudHub.
  • Core Development: Strong Java/J2EE, REST/SOAP, messaging, security (OAuth, SAML) is highly desirable.
  • DevOps: Experience Mulesoft Anypoint Platform 1.0 / 2/0 with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), cloud platforms (AWS).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
  • Certifications: MuleSoft Developer/Architect certifications are significant advantage.
