Job Purpose

 

RWS is looking for an experienced and driven Events Marketing Executive to support the planning, organisation and delivery of various company-run and industry events at home and abroad.

The successful candidate will have fantastic communication skills (both written and verbal), a friendly demeanour, be a team player, have a keen eye for detail and exhibit exceptional organisation skills.

 

This is an exciting position for an enthusiastic, hands-on candidate interested in taking on a role within a fast-paced environment. It offers a unique opportunity to develop event project management skills and digital marketing expertise in a global setting.

 

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Support the events team to deliver a high number of events, all of which support the company’s commercial and strategic objectives
  • Maintain an active list of events across the business and keep stakeholders abreast of changes
  • Research and implement creative lead generation activities and event themes
  • Collate information to promote events across all social media platforms
  • Coordinate logistical and administrative tasks associated with event delivery
  • Ensure all event collateral is consistent and on-brand
  • Budget management
  • Evaluate event performance and facilitate ROI event-reporting
  • Be an active participant at our events, taking on responsibility for tasks such as; registration, event set-up, taking delegate queries, booth management and colleague coordination.

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent work experience
  • Proven project coordination experience
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to collaborate with others
  • Strong grammar and proofreading skills
  • Highly organised and an ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of a marketing automation tool, preferable Hubspot and a CRM system, preferably Salesforce is desierable but not essential
  • Competent with all Microsoft Office packages
  • Ability to speak a second language is very beneficial but not essential
  • A hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic together
  • Willingness to travel
