Cloud Platform Engineer

We’re seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure using Azure GCP, AWS and M365 services. Your expertise will drive innovation, scalability, and reliability for our organization’s cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities: 

Design and Deploy Azure Infrastructure:

• Collaborate with architects and development teams to design and implement scalable cloud solutions using Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Deploy, configure, and manage Azure, AWS or GCP resources, including virtual machines, storage, networking, Serveless/Logic Apps, and Log Analytics Workspaces.
• Deploy and manage Azure/AWS/GCP Kubernetes clusters for containerized workloads.
• Oversee Azure VMware Solution (AVS) environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.

Ensure Security and Compliance:

• Implement security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security groups.
• Monitor compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, SOC, NIST) and regulatory requirements.

Optimize Performance and Cost Efficiency:

• Continuously evaluate and optimize Azure resources for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement automation for resource provisioning and scaling using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).

Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues:

• Diagnose and resolve Azure-related issues promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure problems.

Stay Informed about Azure Technologies:

• Keep up to date with Azure services, features, and best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, methodologies, and services to enhance cloud efficiency.

Skills & Experience: 

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, and Azure Active Directory.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM templates.
• Familiarity with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and multi-cloud environments.
• Experience migrating on-premises data centers to Azure Cloud.
• Good understanding of VMware, AWS, GCP and Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS and GCP Kubernetes Service for container orchestration.
• Experience managing and optimizing Azure VMware Solution or Google GCVE environments.

Security & Compliance:

• Knowledge of Azure security controls, policies, and compliance frameworks.

Soft Skills & Collaboration:

• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex troubleshooting scenarios.
