Do you enjoy troubleshooting, working with command-line tools, and collaborating across teams to solve complex problems?

If so, this role could be an excellent fit for you!

As a Business Data Technician, you’ll be responsible for managing and maintaining data accuracy across brands, ensuring proper configuration, deletion, and updates of datasets and assets. You’ll work closely with different teams to execute requests efficiently, handle escalations, and improve internal tools and documentation.

Job Overview

On a given day, your work might include:

• Handling requests from diverse teams, ensuring timely and accurate execution.

• Ensuring data completeness and accuracy in internal databases used for sensitive content filtering.

• Verifying user and company data during investigations and compliance checks.

• Maintaining internal databases and documentation, reporting bugs, and suggesting improvements to the corresponding team.

• Troubleshooting complex cases through API clients when CLI tools are not sufficient.

• Writing and running SQL queries in Snowflake and using Python scripts to automate data processes.

An ideal Business Data Technician would be:

• Technically proficient and comfortable using command-line interfaces and API clients.

• Experienced with SQL (Snowflake preferred) and familiar with Python scripting.

• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to identify inconsistencies or errors in large datasets.

• Skilled in maintaining documentation and communicating findings or issues clearly.

• Capable of working independently while collaborating cross-functionally.

• Curious and proactive about improving internal tools and processes.

• Comfortable troubleshooting and handling escalations that require investigation.

It would be great if you had:

• Experience working with CLI tools, APIs, and internal platforms.

• Familiarity with data verification, cleanup, and migration tasks.

• Basic understanding of database structures and data management best practices.

• Python-based tools.

• Experience working with Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehouses.

• A university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Candidates must:

• Be eligible to work in Ireland.

• Have excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
