In your role as a Workspace Specialist, you’ll spearhead the seamless integration of our workforce with our customers’ data, ensuring robust security measures. Your expertise will be pivotal in shaping our digital workspace, enhancing productivity, bolstering security, and fostering collaboration among our employees. Furthermore, you’ll proactively track industry trends, ensuring our workspace solutions remain scalable and adaptable to the evolving needs of both our company and our customers.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

 

Strategic Workspace Design and Implementation.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their unique requirements.
  • Manage our Azure Citrix solutions that align with our organizational goals.
  • Implement and configure virtual desktops, application delivery, and remote access technologies.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage, and Log Analytics Workspaces

Proactive Environment Management.

  • Assume ownership of our Citrix environment.
  • Regularly apply updates, patches, and security fixes to maintain a secure infrastructure.
  • Optimize configurations for performance, scalability, and user satisfaction.
  • Monitor system health and address any issues promptly.

Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting.

  • Continuously monitor performance metrics.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks, latency, and other performance-related challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fine-tune the environment.

Collaboration and Leadership.

  • Work closely with IT teams, business units, and management.
  • Participate in technology discussions and contribute to strategic decisions.
  • Propose innovative solutions to enhance productivity and user experience.

User Support and Communication.

  • Provide technical support to end-users.
  • Address inquiries related to the Citrix environment promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Documentation and Best Practices.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • Document system designs, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Promote best practices within the team and organization.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Citrix Architecture and management
  • VDI technologies
  • Cloud platforms and deployment of VDI technologies
  • Microsoft Azure, including Virtual Machines, Storage, and Azure Entra
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, PowerShell, Azure CLI
  • Highly proficient in the English Language.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
