Job Purpose

About the Role

 

As a Solutions Consultant for RWS TrainAI group, you'll serve as the cornerstone for the development of AI data services solutions within the APAC region. The role is integral in developing new strategies and solutions drawing upon the experience of the TrainAI NASA team with special considerations and adjustments for the APAC region. You will support sales in qualifying, solutioning, and closing new business opportunities as well as transitioning them to production teams to begin scaling business.

You will primarily work within the APAC region but will also communicate with NASA and EMEA TrainAI teams for support on cross-regional projects, broader TrainAI organizational structure, best practices, and more.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for clients, supporting their specific business goals, solutions needs and technical requirements related to improving their training data needs for machine learning.
  • Solution Development: Design and implement viable and scalable data acquisition and annotation workflows and solutions.  Respond to customer RFPs, RFIs and requests for innovative solutions related to customer ML initiatives. Present compelling solutions to enterprise clients.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize technical tools and platforms for solution development and integration with RWS and enterprise customer platforms.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and adapt strategic plans to align with client goals, including the identification of opportunities for process improvement, efficiencies and collaborate with other Solutions Consultants to contribute to technology strategy plans. (Strategic Agility)
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross functional and globally dispersed client services teams, peer solutions consultants, sales, technical and supply chain teams to ensure seamless solution development and delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives, including driving innovation, best practices, in all areas of data services operations and solutions development.
  • Enterprise Strategy: Demonstrate knowledge of enterprise level organizational challenges, opportunities and strategy. Demonstrate familiarity with Enterprise client machine learning data pipelines and associated challenges.
  • Business Case Development: Develop complex business cases to enable lasting change and strategic improvements to enterprise customers and RWS.
  • Industry Events: Participate in Key industry and customer events, conferences and host and perform speaking engagements to demonstrate thought leadership and seniority in the data services industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: Monitor the key customers' industries and provide recommendations on how to respond to changes or developments in those industries.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • Strong experience from a role related to solution architecture or similar combined with experience, with at least 2 years focused on pre-sales solutioning.
  • Data service experience is highly preferred.
  • Great communication skills, fluency in English, both spoken and written ;
  • Ability to establish and to keep long-lasting relationships with business partners, both internal and external
  • Strategic thinking, business oriented, with excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Strong data analysis skills: proficient in Excel (such as pivot tables VLOOKUP, Outlook, PowerPoint) have experience in using SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools for data querying, cleaning, visualization, and analysis.
  • Be able to translate business issues into data analysis requirements.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while working under pressure
