About RWS Sales Operations

The Sales Operations Department provides operational and strategic support to global sales teams and is the critical link between sales and many cross-functional departments. The team works closely with many departments to ensure all activities are completed with a high degree of accuracy. The team has a reputation for high standards and high-quality data provision, and this reputation needs to be maintained at all times.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Partner with global sales and renewal teams to facilitate the order process.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with key departments, including Sales, Legal, and Finance, to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Diligently review orders and supporting documentation submitted for processing, check for completeness and clarify any issues, update CRM system accordingly.
  • Ensure the integrity and consistency of corporate data.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, escalating where necessary to line manager.
  • Liaise with technical and Finance teams to ensure delivery of business-critical information.
  • Review and update the CRM system with all contractual and deal-related information.
  • Prepare and distribute reporting to various departments and levels of the organization.
  • Administration duties as necessary supporting Global Business Operations Teams.
  • Own regional onboarding and training for new employees.
  • Assess and advise current sales and business practices to provide innovative approaches for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Partner with regional sales teams for adoption and execution of Sales Operations best practices.

  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Team player with the ability to work on own initiative as required
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively to convey information and collaborate with team members
  • Excellent time management and deadline oriented
  • Proficient in CRM systems ideally Salesforce.com
  • Previous experience in a similar corporate role
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strong facilitation and influencing skills
  • Educated to degree level ideally in a business-related discipline
