Job Purpose

The Training Lead is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive training programs that support organizational goals and employee development. This role involves identifying training needs, developing training materials, and delivering training sessions to employees at various levels within the organization. The Training Lead will also evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

 

Training Program Development:

  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers.
  • Design and develop training programs, including online courses, workshops, and seminars, that align with organizational goals.
  • Create and update training materials such as manuals, presentations, and videos.

Training Delivery: 

  • Conduct training sessions in-person or via virtual platforms, ensuring effective delivery and engagement.
  • Coordinate with external training providers when necessary.
  • Facilitate onboarding programs for new employees.

Training Evaluation and Improvement: 

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Continuously update training programs based on evaluation data and organizational changes.
  • Implement improvements to training materials and delivery methods.

Leadership and Collaboration: 

  • Lead a team of trainers and provide guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with department heads and managers to ensure training programs meet their needs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for training-related inquiries and issues.

 Administration: 

  • Maintain records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes.
  • Prepare reports on training activities and outcomes for senior management.
  • Manage the training budget and ensure cost-effective training solutions.

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field.
  • English upper intermediate both written and speaking.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in training and development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.

Skills: 

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using training software and tools (e.g., LMS, e-learning platforms).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
