LV QA Specialist

As a LV QA Specialist, you will perform editing and proofreading of clinical study documents, reconcile discrepancies with internal and external resources as needed and ensure quality tasks are completed in a timely and thorough manner.

The Regulated Industries division is focused on developing translation and content management solutions tailored to address the complex regulatory environment in force with premium sectors such as Life Sciences and Healthcare (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, CROs, healthcare companies), Finance (banks, asset management companies, insurance providers, fintech) and Legal (law firms, audit companies).  

Key Responsibilities

• Follow our Quality Management System and make sure all deliverables meet client expectations - accurate, timely, and error-free.
• Clearly communicate project instructions, assist translators with queries, and manage feedback efficiently.
• Work closely with colleagues to complete quality tasks and maintain smooth project workflows.
• Keep project records up to date and handle essential documentation with care and precision.
• Step in to support teammates when needed and continuously improve processes through feedback and learning.
• Ensure supplementary quality materials needed for shipment are prepared accurately (e.g. certifications).

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in Linguistic Validation
• Translation and CAT tools experience is an advantage, but not a must
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects and competing work demands
• Ability to consistently meet deadlines, communicate effectively and to clearly understand project requirements
• Fluent in written and spoken English 
• A team player who can collaborate effectively with a diverse group of individuals
• Quality focused and detail oriented
• Excellent proofreading and visual comparison skills
• Good understanding of general linguistics
• Aptitude to work with non-standard file types (e.g. .xml files) and manage very basic formatting tags
