Job Purpose

 

Contenta Solutions Consultants are responsible for designing and creating the technical architecture and application configurations/customizations needed to make Contenta Solution Suite successful in enterprise application environments. The ideal candidate works closely with both the client and the services team to evaluate needs and to design and implement a solution that will meet those needs. The ability to think creatively and to develop new approaches to difficult problems is required.

Engagements may last a few days to several months and whilst not all being onsite will certainly involve some travel.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Deploy & configure customer-specific solutions based on RWS technology, ensuring the client takes advantage of RWS’ best practices.
  • Understand the client’s situation, goals, and requirements.
  • Provide project guidance during customer implementation and work with customers to facilitate the delivery of projects.
  • Own complete projects below a certain size based on skill set or form part of a larger enterprise team depending on the scale of the engagement.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service.
  • When requested/necessary conduct training sessions and deliver consulting services at the customer site.
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge and understanding of RWS and of methodologies, processes, and solutions

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • Experience within a customer-facing role which involved gathering requirements and executing bespoke technical solutions.
  • At least 5 - 7 years of software development experience with the following languages:
    • JavaScript
    • Java
    • Application development frameworks
    • XSL
    • XML
    • HTML
    • CSS
    • Perl (desired)
    • Experience with DevOps tools such as:
    • IntelliJ or Eclipse
    • Browser debugger
    • Jira
    • Gitlab / GitHub
  • Platforms:
    • Windows and Linux
    • Apache Tomcat
    • SQL Server and Oracle
    • Azure and AWS
  • Agile methodology
  • Ability to thrive in a small consulting team environment (2 – 3 person teams).
  • Previous experience with a major systems integrator and/or an enterprise software company a plus.#

Base Pay

 

$ 58,000 - 83,000 $ / year plus bonus

 

Actual rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to: position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other perks, as outlined in any formal offer made.
