DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize our enterprise-grade SaaS platform, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability for our customers with a stringent 99.9% SLA.

About Cloud Operations and Tech Support   
 
At RWS our Technical Support and Cloud Operations Teams are a global organization spanning across 13 countries serving a global customer base. Technical Support deliver highly valued support and build trusted relationships with our customers, from individual freelancers to large international corporations and governments.  
 
We are constantly investigating and solving technical problems across a wide range of products and technology, with emphasis on prevention and root cause analysis. At the same time, knowledge sharing is crucial, providing our users and colleagues with the latest solutions, answers, and information. From a Cloud Operations perspective we are a team of experienced, high-performance individuals focused on serving our Enterprise customers leveraging our SaaS solutions to power their “Seamless Customer Experience”. Our core focus is on Quality of Service, Customer Experience, Security and Compliance. Both technical and non-technical groups are embedded within the same Cloud Operations unit. 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain complex cloud infrastructure in AWS
• Manage and optimize multi-technology environments including:
  • Windows Server
  • Linux systems
  • AWS ECS (Elastic Container Service)
  • AWS Aurora PostgreSQL
  • SQL Server databases
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using modern provisioning tools
• Implement and enhance monitoring and observability solutions
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines
• Continuously improve deployment processes and reduce deployment complexity
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and SLA requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across diverse systems
• Collaborate with development and product teams to improve system reliability and performance

Skills & Experience

• 4-5 years of professional DevOps/Infrastructure experience
• Advanced AWS cloud infrastructure management
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
• Containerization with Docker and AWS ECS
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)
• Database management (PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
• CI/CD pipeline design (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Fluent English communication (written and verbal)
• Experience with Tridion Docs or similar enterprise content management systems
• Advanced security and compliance understanding
• Performance optimization expertise
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Customer-focused approach
