Mulesoft Lead Developer

RWS are looking for an experienced MuleSoft Developer to join the internal integrations team.  You would be working on a number of our strategic transformation programmes designing and delivering key integrations whilst helping ensure our production platform continues to support critical business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new functionality in alignment with Group Architecture standards.
• Lead and support a small team of in-house developers, fostering collaboration and growth.
• Troubleshoot production issues, debug, and resolve defects efficiently.
• Analyze change requests and help refine technical requirements.
• Participate in and occasionally lead design and code reviews.
• Document MuleSoft applications clearly and thoroughly.
• Promote and implement best practices in development and integration.
• Plan proactively to ensure our integrations evolve alongside the MuleSoft platform.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 4 years’ experience delivering integrations using the MuleSoft platform, preferably with a particular focus on the following:
  • Test driven development using MUnit.
  • Reliability patterns using Anypoint MQ or another message-based platform.
  • Cloud based deployments.
  • RAML.
  • MuleSoft API Manager
  • MuleSoft Exchange
  • MuleSoft Design Centre

• Lead a small team of Mulesoft Developers 

• Able to communicate well verbally and in writing with individuals from different teams with different levels of technical expertise.
• Excellent problem-solving ability.
• Able to work in a global team.
• Understanding of the full development cycle (within agile working practices desirable).
• Comply with coding standards and procedures.
• Interested in learning new technologies.
