Job Purpose

Project management of clients’ IP Recordal requests to include changes of applicant name, changes of applicant address, mergers & assignments against the client’s IP Portfolio.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Preparation of quotes for recordal work.
  • Organisation of invoices to be issued to client.
  • Creation and communication of IP Recordal data records.
  • Preparation of IP Recordal formalities.
  • Supporting clients with IP Recordal formalities execution
  • Preparing and sending instructions and IP Recordal formalities to local agents and PTO’s
  • Tracking and communicating IP Recordal status to clients.
  • Monitoring and chasing for IP Recordal filing application evidence and official receipts.
  • Advise clients of status of IP recordal filing applications and official receipts at regular intervals.
  • Establish with local agents and additional IP Recordals that might be required.
  • Advise clients on any additional steps that might be required to execute the required IP Recordal
  • Keep clients informed of any variation in additional IP Recordal work required against the quotation.
  • Respond to any client queries in relation to IP Recordal projects.
  • Work with clients to resolve any queries that may arise from local agents and PTO’s.
  • Training of and assistance to other team members on IP Recordal work.
  • Work with sales to advise prospects of operational aspects of IP Recordals activity when necessary.
  • All other duties required to complete role to the highest standard.

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • 2-year experience in IP focussed role essential.
  • 2-year experience in IP Paralegal role desirable
  • Ability to interact and communicate with customers effectively.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Planning and organising.
  • Team Player
  • Self-starter and acts upon own initiative.
  • Ability to solve problems and offer solutions.
