Job Purpose

As a Product Owner, you will play a key role in developing and executing the future of the IP Maintenance products. The role holder will act as a catalyst between strategy and delivery by providing subject matter expertise to maximise product value through the development team. This role requires a strong understanding of customer requirements in the IP Maintenance space.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Translate the product vision and strategy for IP Maintenance service and software products into roadmap.
  • Understand customer IP Maintenance requirements and opportunities to drive product feature differentiation. 
  • Analyse customer feedback and incorporate it into the product development process.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for business analysts and developers, creating, maintaining, and prioritising the product development based on the product roadmap outlining key milestones and release schedules.
  • Create user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with the development team to progress against the IP Maintenance service and IP Portal roadmap.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to ensure appropriate GTM, messaging and support is provided for IP Maintenance service and IP Portal
  • Support the development of market facing materials.
  • Support the development of internal training collateral.
  • Tailor demonstrations for external and internal customers to identify how IP Maintenance services and product features drive value for target markets and customer personas.
  • Stay current on market trends and industry developments.
  • Actively participate in the Product Management community through knowledge sharing and collateral development.

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • Subject Matter Expert in IP Maintenance
  • 5 years + experience in IP industry
  • Basic understanding about project and methodology
  • Strong knowledge about existing business processes, company vision, and future requirements
  • Skilled in problem solving and analysing business information.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo.
  • Ability to describe business processes
