Job Overview

Responsibilities:

 

  • Managing projects and assisting senior leads with managing product lines
  • Receiving project hand-offs and preparing for testing
  • Creating test plans, preparing estimates and quotes and setting up test environments
  • Running smaller projects end-to-end without supervision
  • Taking part in project planning, resolving tech support issues, linguistic issues and queries
  • Utilizing and improving current approaches to solve both project-specific and general testing-related problems and roadblocks
  • Creating feature set based on client requirements and submitting for review to senior leads
  • Reviewing and performing QA bug reports
  • Providing technical support, troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Supporting projects, including testing, bug triage and bug logging
  • Preparing project deliverables and submitting for review to senior leads
  • Suggesting improvements and changes to current processes and workflows
  • Training new testers and support leads
  • Providing Tester supervision and support
  • Cooperating with other departments within the company, such as Project Management
  • Maintaining positive relationship with clients

 

 

Functional Testing Path

 

  •  Execute assigned test plans/cases (high difficulty level)
  •  Provide testing estimates (evaluation & quotation)
  • Participate in client calls & meetings, provide high quality data analytics, support client engagement
  • Ensure process controls are in place
  • IPQA and bug review
  • Build and maintain team knowledge base (documents)
  • Create test plans and test cases
  • Sign-off on feature set based on client requirements
  • Review and conduct QA on bug reports
  • Track and forecast project progress
  • Train others
  • Provide intermediate and advanced technical support and problem solving is flexible
  • Take responsibility for overall daily work
  • Optional: Team Leader - small team management, mentoring, ensure utilization


Linguistic Tester Path

 

  •  Maintains and grows operational, technical, and localization expertise and testing domain knowledge
  • Improves current approaches to solve both project-specific and general testing-related problems and roadblocks
  • Executes test plans/test cases (high difficulty/high priority)
  • Logs linguistic/ functional bugs including grammar, readability, and style
  • Serves as the main linguistic lead/expert for their language & locale market developments, resolves linguistic queries, grammar, style, and readability issues, provides guidance for junior linguistic leads in other languages.
  •  Reviews and performs QA on bug reports
  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting and problem solving
  •  Prepares project deliverables and reviews deliverables prepared by junior leads
  •  Provides Tester supervision and support

 

Requirements: 

 

  • A full professional level of English proficiency. 
  • Native speaker of one of the following languages: 

     es-LA, pt-BR, es-ES, AR, zh-CN, zh-TW, nl-NL, it-IT, ja-JP, ko-KR, pt-PT, th-TH, tr-TR, Hindi, sv-SE, fr-FR, fr-CA

  • Experience with testing (functional or linguistic)
  • Based in Poland (knowledge of Polish language is not required).
  • Translation, proof editing, other technical skills or project management experience will be a plus
