Language Specialist

You will be part of a translation team, working closely with the Translation Line Manager. You will be responsible for delivering translations of the highest quality and accuracy on time.

Seoul, Korea – the language office in Korea is handling language pairs that Korean is the target language, mainly English into Korean pair.

Key Responsibilities

• Translation of general and technical texts in the IT/Marketing field from English into Korean.
• Review of work of other external translators.
• Understanding and following linguistic processes and procedures.
• Understanding and following the specific processes of each client.
• Producing quality translations within given deadlines.
• Managing terminology effectively.
• Using the translation tools.
• Linguistic testing of software, help and websites, if necessary.
• Proofreading of documents, if necessary. 

Skills & Experience

• Be a Graduate or Post Graduate in Linguistics, Modern Languages or Translation Studies.
• Fluent command of English and extremely high level of fluency in Korean language.
• Minimum 1-3 years translation experience.
• Excellent computer literacy;
• Be able to produce work of a high standard on a consistent basis and have good organizational and time management skills.
• An eye for detail and the ability to work successfully under pressure and to tight deadlines are essential requirements.
• Should be a strong team player, who will prove flexible and motivated, as well as keen to learn
